Last week I bought a Cake Pops pan from Walgreens. So anyone interested in getting one Walgreen's is where I found mine. I was hesitate at first purchasing this item. I figured that they would be really small. I bought it anyway and have done several different kinds of pops. I tried using pancake mix in them, they didn't turn out to badly, the kids could even warm them up for breakfast and dip them in syrup. You just have to put a little less because the mix comes out the top. I've done homemade donuts in it, those turned out okay. I think I need to tweek that recipe a little bit. The Cake Pops were by far the best, I made them for my daughter's birthday today and the kids at school just loved them. My daughter's teacher and I were brainstorming on what else we could make out of them as well. Here are some of the ideas, footballs, basketballs, soccer balls, faces, and ladybugs. Really the ideas are endless. It's a great investment and I think you will definitely get your use out of it. I will post pictures on here later.
Well it looks like I'm starting all over with my blog. I've only located some of the photos of the crafts I've done. So instead of trying to go back and spend several days posting them, I've decided that it would just be better to start over.
Looks like I accidentally deleted all my photos off my blog. Looks like it's going to be a big process to go back and put back on here. I'll be spending tonight doing that, since I don't have the time right now. Sorry about that everyone.
Hope everyone had a great holiday season. I can't believe we're into the 7th day of the new year already. It was wonderful having almost two weeks off for Christmas break and not having to get up early to take the kids to and from school.
Update on my thumb.... The cast is now off, it's only been a day though. It's been difficult trying to do things, but I'll eventually get there. The doctor says to exercise my thumb so that I can eventually have full range of motion with it. He's thinking in the next 6 weeks I should be using like normal, but with having it in a cast for 2-1/2 months, it may take a little longer.
I'm also hoping to get back into my craft room and do some projects. I need to get cleaning it, I have some projects I want to have done before next Thursday. When I get my projects done I will post them.
