Snowman card

Hello everyone,

It's Sunday night and I thought I would share a quick card I made using Old Olive and Real Red cardstock from Stampin' Up! I also used the Snowman from All Around Accessories from My Creative Time. I gave the snowman a little color using my Letraset Promarkers as well as used the new Decorative Dots embossing folder from Stampin' Up! that you will soon be able to get for free during the Sale-A-Bration Sale that starts January 28 and runs through until March 31, 2014. For every $50 you spend you get a FREE Sale-A-Bration gift. If you're interested let me know.

Inside card: Hoping your Christmas is trimmed with the love and warmth of family and friends.

On the inside of the card I used a stamp set by Stampin' Up! called Christmas Messages and that's available right now. It's a super cute set and as a set of 9 stamps in it. I had to use this cutie pootie snowman, he just fit perfect. The All Around Accessories comes with a total of 6 stamps in the set. This set has a little bit of everything, you can check it out here. Okay, well I think that's it for me. As always, thanks for stopping by, and I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening.

Penguin card

 Hello Everyone,

Here's a card for you today. This card is measured at 4-1/4 by 5-1/2. The Products used today are from My Creative Time.  I used the label die from the Just Simply Live set and stamped the Happy Holidays using From Our Family To Yours stamp set and popped it up with some foam tape. I also used the From our family to yours! stamp on the inside. I used the Circle Scallop dies from Sizzix and used the Divine Swirls Embossing folder from Cuttlebug. I cut out two of the same circle scallops and stamped the penguins twice and put a string in between the two to make it look like it's floating. I stamped the penguins and cut them out and popped them up to give them some dimension. I had to improvise as I didn't have any fishing line to do my project with. I love that it moves back and forth a little and the image is on the inside for recipient to see as well. The blue paper is Soft Sky from Stampin' Up! and the white paper is from Georgia Pacific that I already had on hand.

As always thanks for stopping by and hope you have a great day!

The Origami Box

Hello Everyone,

It's my second post for today, although I was going for Christmas, it still turned out rather well. I will probably be making a few of these for Christmas with a little something on the inside and then the person receiving the box can keep it and use it for whatever they would like. The products used for this box are as follows: My Creative Time: Rolled Flower die, Stitched Leaves Dies, and the Small Stitched Scalloped Bow Die, Stampin' Up! Jewels Basic and Spellbinders Foliage dies.

As always thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Here is my first ever smashbook page. I still think I need to per-fect my technique though. So for today's smashbook page I used MME Christmas 6x6 paper pad from last year. I used My Creative Time Stamps and dies from Warm Holiday Fun and Just Simply Live.

As always thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great day.

Hello There from the Happy Day stamp set from Stampin' Up!

Hello There,

Well it's Thursday and I've been working on cards and other projects. This card is made from the Happy Day stamp set by Stampin' Up! It was fairly simple to do, I just used what I had was available and the strip on the left side of the card is stamped with the doily stamp to make my own ribbon. The card base (black  is 4" by 5-1/2" and the white card is cut at 7-1/4" by 5-1/4", the strip is approximately 1/4". The flower was cut from the Blossom Two Spellbinder die. I used the smallest two to cut out the flowers. I did have to trace the two smaller dies and cut them by hand to get the smaller layer I wanted. If I would have just used the die to cut it out it would have been too big and it wouldn't have looked right. I hope that makes sense.

As always, thanks for stopping by today and I hope you have a great day!

Projects coming soon!

Hello Everyone,

It's starting to look a lot like Christmas here in Northern Michigan. It's snowing today and suppose to snow all week. Like we say here in Michigan, if you stick around long enough the weather will change, well I only think it's going to continue to snow. It's beautiful outside, but cold. I have some projects coming up here in the next couple days and will post them when finished. I will of course give you all the details of what I used so that you can make some of your own. Thanks for stopping by today, hope you have a great day!
